Alisyn Camerota
Alisyn Camerota is a journalist who is also an author as well as the anchor of CNN's morning program "New Day." She is a resident of Westport, CT, and was appointed to the Westport Country Playhouse's board of trustees. Over the course of her 30 years in journalistic work, Camerota has covered stories nationally and internationally, earning one Emmy Award for her breaking reporting on the investigation of Roger Stone, and the famous Edward R. Murrow Award for her news breaking reporting on the impact of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. Johnna G. Torsone from Stamford has been named as an honorary board participant after serving on the board for seven years. Anna Czekaj Farber, who currently serves as chair of the Westport board after having served in the board since 2013, has also been named an incoming board member. CzekajFarber succeeds Barbara Streicker of Westport, who has been the chair of the board since October 2015. She has continued as a board member since 2006. The Playhouse's board of trustees comprises 26 trustees.
